Cathedral Cove is located at the northern end of the Coromandel peninsula between Hahei and Whitianga. It is a marine reserve and stunning example of New Zealand coastline.
To access Cathedral Cove you can park your Hitch car at the northern of Hahei and walk 45 minutes to the beach. Alternatively a kayak and boat tours are available from Hahei or Whitianga.
If you plan to visit Cathedral Cove you should take a camera for the amazing natural rock formations, a snorkel and mask for the plentiful sea life and a packed lunch so you can spend the day there.
